Anatomy Pop-Ups

I often turn to medical and anatomy pop-ups and fold-outs when I need inspiration for my own pop-ups. I'm working on some animal pop-ups at the moment, and was pleased to discover this Duke University Library exhibit of anatomical flap books.

I learned of them via bioephemera.

Louise Richardson

I'm in love with Louise Richardson's shoes, clothes, butterflies, books, fiber art, and paper works. Wonderful combination of materials and content. See more on her flickr.

I originally discovered her work via Ullabenulla.

Book arts! Paper-cutting! Bell jars! So much to love in the beautiful work of Georgia Russell.

Discovered via how to make a baby elephant float.
